Freshmen applicants are those:
a. Currently enrolled in any grade 12 school
b. Graduate of Grade 12 but has never been enrolled to any college/university.

Admission and Enrollment Process

  1. Online Registration
    – Use your verified email address to register in the RTU Online Registration
    – Upload 2×2 ID picture with BLUE background
    – Secure Admission Test Schedule and e-Permit
  2. College Admission Test
    – Present the e-Permit printed copy 
    – Take the admission test
    – Wait for the posting of successful applicants qualified for interview.
  3. Face to Face Interview
    – Interview schedule will be received via email
    Admission Requirements:
          * Photocopy of PSA Birth Certificate
          * Original Form 138 and Good Moral Certificate
          * 2×2 picture (2 pieces)
    – Upload the scanned copy of the requirements in the portal.
  4. Enrollment
    – Submission of admission requirements and accomplish the online individual inventory
    -Secure printed registration form of enrolled subjects
    -Take medical exam and submit medical requirements
    -Secure stamp enrolled

General Guidelines

  1. This year’s admission process is composed of three phases: Initial Screening, Academic Screening and Document Submission
  2. RTU will NOT conduct College Admission Test for this admission period. Instead, an online evaluation/screening of documents will be utilized to select qualified applicants for all programs offered by the University.
  3. No onsite submission of requirements will be allowed for both Initial and Academic screening. Applicants must follow the prescribed screening timeline and procedure.

Guidelines For Freshmen Admission

  1. The minimum qualifications and requirements of first-year for non-board degree programs are as follows: At least 80% GWA; and No grade below 80% in any subject

COLLEGE ADMISSION SCREENING PROCEDURE 2022-2023

PHASE 1: INITIAL SCREENING

Step 1: Applicants should prepare a scanned PDF copy of the following requirements

  1. For currently enrolled Grade 12 students: 1) Certificate of Enrolment signed by Authorized School Personnel and 2) Certified True Copy of Grade 12 Card with at least 2nd Quarter Grades
  2. For graduates of Grade 12 on previous years: FORM 138/ Grade 11 and Grade 12 card with complete Authorized School Personnel Signatories

Step 2: Access the INITIAL SCREENING FORM through this link or by scanning the QR Code.
Step 3: Wait for an e-mail from RTU GCSC Testing regarding the result of your initial screening and for the next process.

The INITIAL SCREENING RESULTS will be sent via email from April 20-30. Instructions for Phase 2 will be included in the email of those who pre-qualified.
Those who did not submit complete initial requirements and those who made duplicate submissions will not be evaluated.

Phase 2 : Academic Screening

ACADEMIC SCREENING PERIOD: MAY 1- JUNE 15, 2022

Those who were able to pre-qualify in the initial screening will receive information for the academic screening procedure via email. This includes instructions regarding the academic screening and the requirements needed for academic evaluation which will be done by the Department head of the program.

ACADEMIC SCREENING RESULT: On or before June 30

E-mails will be sent to all applicants regarding the result of the academic screening. Qualified applicants will be provided instructions for the next phase: Submission of documents. Applicants should prepare the original requirements for submission in the specified period to be set by the Student Records and Admission Center.

Note: The department head will not entertain follow-ups for their applications within the academic screening period. Take note of this schedule for your reference. If you were not able to receive an e-mail within the specified period, you may send a message on gcsc_testing@rtu.edu.ph after the release of academic screening results.

Phase 3 : Document Submission

Student Records and Admission Center will provide a submission period for all freshmen qualifiers. They should access the pre-enrollment admission form to be provided by the department heads to confirm submission of their requirements for enrollment. Once requirements have been submitted, qualifiers will receive a confirmation of document submission from the registrar and the department head and will be processed for enrollment.

Note: The SRAC will not entertain follow-ups for their document submission within the submission period. Kindly wait for an email from the department head regarding your submission. If you were not able to receive an e-mail within the specified period for enrollment, you may send a message on your department head for follow-up.
